I am a Kashmir-born director of photography, based in the United Kingdom. Broadcast credits from 2022 include documentaries, narrative films, and commercial campaigns in the UK and abroad. I studied Mass Communication and Journalism at the University of Kashmir, then completed a Master's in Cinematography for Film and Television at Bournemouth University. I work with natural light and frame each shot so it carries the story. That practice runs through a feature documentary on Apple TV, series for Discovery Channel India and National Geographic India, and commercial films for brands and cultural institutions.
